My travels through Peru, especially the breathtaking landscapes of Cusco, inspired this painting. I wanted to capture the essence of the city by using bold contrasts between bright color and deep shadow, highlighting its Spanish colonial architecture and dry, sunlit highland climate. The brown wooden frame enhances the piece, giving it a warm, decorative finish.
